In Q2 of FY-2019, Royal Orchid Hotels registers a 9% growth in operations, EBIDTA up by 20%

Royal Orchid Hotels Limited has recently reported its second quarter and half year financial results for the quarter year ending 30th September 2018.  Some of the major highlights of result include a nominal rise in the revenue from operations, now amounting to INR 26.96 crore in the second quarter of FY-19, as compared to INR 24.72 crore in FY-18. Further, EBIDTA has also registered a growth, now accounting for INR 4.89 crore as compared to INR 4.07 crore in the same period. 

In key business initiatives for the second quarter of FY-19, Royal Orchid Hotels has opened its new hotel, Regenta Resort in Bharatpur, Rajasthan taking total number of properties to 49 in 35 strategic regions.

Commenting on the results, Chander K Baljee, Managing Director said “we are delighted to bring you yet another fruitful quarter with good numbers. We are aligned with our growth strategy and opening of Regenta Resort in Bharatpur, our newest property, is the result of the same. ROHL will strive to diverse geographically and expand into tier 2 and 3 cities across India.”

Royal Orchid Hotels is one of India’s fastest growing hotel chains. It primarily operates 5- and 4-star hotels, enabling it to target the discerning business and leisure traveller. The hotel group currently operates 49 hotels across India. 

For the initiated, the group has been awarded with several honours, which include the National Tourism Award 2008-09 organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Top 50 Brands for 2014 and 2015 by Paul Writer and most recently in 2016, among others, Ramada Bangalore won the award for the “Best Budget Hotel” for India Travel Awards 2017.
