Special promotional fares marks Air Canada’s Mumbai-Toronto-Mumbai service, deploys Dreamliner

Starting on the 2nd July, Air Canada will deploy its most modern aircraft, Boeing 787 – Dreamliner on the new route – Mumbai- Toronto-Mumbai. Air Canada has been steadily expanding its footprints in the Indian market and its attempt to further cement its position as a major player carrying Indian traffic into the North American shores is expected to get a shot in the arm with this new service. Planned as a four times a week service, the airline has announced special promotional fares to mark the launch. These fares are valid for travel between July to the end of the year. The Canadian carrier has put into use its vast distribution networks, roping in travel agents, OTA’s and Global Distribution Systems (GDS).

Air Canada11This new addition is expected to further increase movement between the financial hub of India, Mumbai and busy Canadian city. It will also attract travelers from the larger western Indian outbound, especially Gujarat. The airline shares that there has already been a number of queries for MICE movement from the western region, indicating good reception to the mooted route.

Air Canada in a press release noted that it “expected is a fair amount of VFR traffic especially from Gujarat as also a growing demand for leisure, with Canada emerging as a popular destination for the evolved traveler.”
