Macanese culture a top draw for Delhi at the ‘Experience Macao Festival’

To celebrate the opulence and splendid culture of Macao, the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) organised the ‘Experience Macao Festival’ at Cyber Hub, Gurgaon from 30th November to 2nd December with a lot of fun activities, delicious Macanese food and memorable ‘Macao moments’.

The festival kick started with various interactive activities garnering positive feedback from visitors. In attendance was an interesting visitor at the event – the official mascot of Macao Tourism – MAK MAK and the dancing Panda Kai Kai.

The Virtual Reality [VR] zone was a major draw as it simulated the scenic beauty and bustling streets of Macao for the Delhiites. However, the biggest attraction of the event was the food truck showcasing specially curated Macao’s signature delicacies, comprising of the famous Macanese Egg Tarts, African Chicken, Macanese Minchi and Dim sums.

Other unique activities included traditional lion dance and the lovely carnival parade which gained everyone’s attention and kept them glued to the performances. Children and adults also enjoyed getting their MAK MAK tattoos and names written in Chinese using the beautiful Calligraphic typography.

Zap Booking and DPauls also had their sales stalls at the festival and offered discounted Macao packages to all customers during the three days of the festival.
